Accommodation and Board

At the conference venue Monte Verità up to 86 guests can be accommodated in various houses (Bauhaus Hotel, Villa Semiramis, Casa Monescia, Casa Gioia and Casa Marta).

Please note that the number of single rooms at the conference site hotel is limited, therefore if you require a single room, we recommend that you book one well in advance.

A less expensive alternative is the Hotel Casa Emmaus located at 15 minutes walking distance from the conference site.

At Monte Verità hotel sharing a bedroom with another participant will increase the chances of finding room availability at the conference site hotel. If you have a suggestion for the room sharing, you can indicate a name at the moment of booking.

If you cannot reserve a room at the conference venue (Hotel and Conference Center Monte Verità) or should you prefer to arrange your accommodation outside Monte Verità, you will still have to book and pay for meals and coffee breaks on the Web Page of the conference venue http://shop.monteverita.org/.

Any pre- or post-conference nights at the Hotel and Conference Center Monte Verità do not profit from the reduced prices indicated below.

Accompanying Persons are expected to pay for board and the full hotel room price (for example: CHF 105.- p/person p/night in shared double room)**.

* Please be aware that not attending the entire conference is only possible in exceptional cases.

** The tourist tax (CHF 2. p/person and p/day) will be added to the room price for each overnight stay in accordance with Art. 7 of the Tourism Law. The amount given refers to the year 2015 and might be subjected to change.
